Lessons in your home
Most of my lessons that I teach take place in the comfort of your home. Lessons are weekly, and are 45 minutes for children, 60 minutes for adults. I offer annual lesson Packages of 30 lessons each year, with enrollment taking place annually in September, and the teaching season ending the following year in June.
Lessons over Zoom
Zoom lessons are available for International students, and for my local students when weather makes it unsafe to drive. I have added in Zoom lessons as of 2019, and I'm excited to dive deeper into the digital age!
Annual Recitals
One of my greatest joys is performing at and hosting 4 annual recitals for my students, and their families. Every year I choose different themes to try and encourage students to play a variety of music from various genres including classical, folk and pop. The December recital takes place at the beautiful St. Andrew-by-the-Lake Church on Toronto Island. The two March recitals for students only, include the Pizza Recital for children, and the Wine and Cheese recital for adults. The June Recital brings together all that students have learned throughout the year in a final performance. Of course there's always plenty to eat and drink and a chance to form lasting bonds at all the recitals after playing. I am always told the recitals are a highlight for my students and not to be missed :)
